Our Team

Dr. Fleming is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry, and has been in private practice for over 20 years. He specializes in treating refractive disorders of the eyes and is also certified to treat external eye diseases. Dr. Fleming fits all types of contact lenses. He also does lasik consultations as well as pre and post operative exams for one of the most respected lasik centers in San Diego.
 

Dr. Fleming is married with two children so he knows about giving the utmost care for healthy eyes for all family members.
 

Dr. Fleming has been reconized for his service to the community by both the Rancho San Diego/Spring Valley Rotary and Lions Clubs.

Dr. Austin Tran earned his Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors (cum laude) from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Through his training and various externships, Dr. Austin has gained extensive experience in treating and managing ocular diseases, binocular vision disorders, complex contact lens fittings, and the co-management of pre- and post-operative surgical care.

Dr. Austin provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages and treats a broad spectrum of eye conditions. He is committed to delivering attentive, personalized care with the southern hospitality that reflects his Texas roots.
 

Dr. Austin is a Texas native (Austin from Austin), but met his wife here in California, which led him to move here permanently. Happy wife, happy life.

Outside of work, he enjoys the great outdoors of San Diego, playing tennis/pickleball, running, and traveling. His first full marathon ever was in San Diego!

Alejandra has been a patient of Dr. Fleming’s for over 15 years and joined the staff in 2022 as office manager. She is American Board of Opticianry Certified making her equipped to help you with your eyecare needs. Her experience of having worn glasses and contacts since she was young made her especially helpful for patients with new eyewear.
 

Alejandra spends all of her free time outside of work with family and her son, Andres. She was born and raised in San Diego and her family still lives here locally. She attended San Diego State University and continues to grow her knowledge in and outside the office.
